Office Administrator Level 2 (1 year Maternity Cover)

 Salary: APT&C Scale 4, £22,377 (pro rota)

Hours: 36 hours pw (Term Time Only)

We are seeking a highly competent, enthusiastic and experienced Receptionist/Administrator to provide  excellent front line service in our extremely busy reception/office area. You will be the first point of contact for the school in both telephone calls and greeting and welcoming parents and visitors into the school each day.

You will be required to deliver a range of office duties including; general reception and finance duties, clerical and administrative support, operating the switchboard and responding to enquiries.

Ideally you will have previous school reception experience and will be fully trained in the school SIMS system.

Other duties will involve maintaining school fund, operating the schools cashless system, filing, photocopying, receiving and dispatching post and other duties as required.

Applicants must have the ability to prioritise their workload, multitask and be able to use a range of computer software, including spreadsheets and database. You must be very confident in your presentation and communication skills. Excellent standard of English, good telephone manner, attention to detail and a positive attitude are essential.

Significant experience of working within an administrative environment is a requirement of this post as is the ability to work as part of a team but also on your own initiative.

Site Services Assistant

Salary: APT&C Scale 3, Year round, £21,591 (£8,996 pro rota)

Hours:

  • Mon-Fri: 6am-8am
  • Mon-Fri: 5:30pm–6:30pm

The federated governing body of Forest Alliance of Nursery Schools (FANS) are seeking to appoint a Site Services Assistant to work across our federation. The candidate must have a ‘can do’ attitude to work in a Nursery environment and be prepared to work across both sites.

Experience in school caretaking/cleaning is useful, but not essential. Proven cleaning and handyperson skills are essential as is commitment to sustainability.

We would expect you to maintain very high standards in the upkeep and improvement of our school sites and to enjoy contributing to an excellent eco friendly working environment for pupils, staff and animals.

The post-holder will be a key holder must be committed to work across the federation at both our nursery school sites, between the hours of early mornings and late evening and committed to working weekends when needed.

It is essential that you have a flexible approach, a high degree of motivation and be fully committed to working in a busy school environment. You will be required to show initiative and promote a positive image of the site through your work keeping our school clean and tidy.
